Tom's On Grand was officially opened as a restaurant in 2009, as Andy’s Bar and Grille. The name was officially changed to Tom's On Grand in November of 2017. However, Tom's has a history that lays much deeper than the traditional, American cuisine that it offers today.
Tom's On Grand has an atmosphere that resembles the trendiness of the West Coast but still warm and inviting. It is always decorated for every holiday, especially during the Christmas season. Their menu is diverse and quite good, especially the or d'oeuvre, but a bit pricey. They fill up fast on weekends, so arrive early or enjoy a wait at the beautiful bar.
I was here with friends for a weeknight dinner. The wait staff was friendly, dinner good and casual, but warm environment. There are several daily specials and although somewhat pricey the portions are generous and tasty.
Excellent local food and friendly people. I have enjoyed everything i have ordered; it is all made fresh. Especially for Wisconsin Rapids, I strongly recommend this place.
From the time we walked in and were greeted to the end of the stay, we were attended to by the staff and also had a visit from the owner. The staff brought out ordered items and meal with great timing. Although the menu was small, additional nightly specials balanced the offerings and desserts. The bar offered whatever we wanted. We had great food and dessert.
